Hi there! Welcome to Raise the Bar-n! My name is Kerry Quinney and I am a special educator, researcher, and advocate for children with different abilities, especially autism. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master of Arts in Special Education, and a Ph.D. in Education, Special Education. The focus of my Doctorate was young children with autism and improving literacy and speech sounds. I am a firm believer that all children can learn and I set high expectations for every child, hence the name, "Raise the Bar-n"). I am a national presenter at conferences and seminars, promoting the High Expectations Movement in the early years and advocating for inclusion. I really enjoy helping families navigate services within the community.

I previously worked as a special educator for the Clark County School District for 14 years but decided to venture out on my own in Summer 2024 to start my own center for children with disabilities. This has been a dream of mine for many years and I am excited to share my expertise. I believe we need more resources within the Las Vegas community and beyond. I absolutely adore neurodiverse children I truly understand their needs and connect with them on a deep level.

In my free time, I enjoy rescuing and rehabilitating animals. I recently founded an animal rescue titled, Raise the Bar-n Foundation. I am thrilled to merge my love of neurodiverse children with animals. I also enjoy exploring the outdoors on foot, on a snowboard, or off-roading in my Bronco. I enjoy ice skating and hockey and have been a professional instructor for 25 years. I am also the founder and president of Spectrum on Ice.

My name is Linda. My passion is helping families with autism resources. Through my personal journey, I have an understanding of what a parent and family goes through when they get an autism diagnosis. From early intervention, to enrolling your child into the special education school system, and beyond. I strongly believe a child’s best outcome comes from a parent/caregiver advocating for them. My own personal journey has given me the experiences
to educate myself and share with others in navigating therapy services, funding, community connections, special needs events and activities, researching, and finding balance during your journey. I am a strong believer in “knowledge is power.” I am excited in helping families who
need assistance, parent mentorship, and building a village of support.
